PRAYING FOR US

Now that we have a bit of a sense of what life will be like here, we can add some more specific prayer concerns. Now that we are able to move back and forth between here and Hong Kong, we would like to be able to find a community to meet with there. Another concern of ours is how we are spending our time. We have relatively flexible schedules most days, with some gaps built in between classes (think of your college class schedule), so we don't have tons of "responsibilities" keeping us accountable for how we spend our time. Right now, David has been pretty consumed with learning the language, rightfully so, but we would also like to make sure that we are putting our time & efforts outside of the classroom to good use while we are here. We just need a bit of guidance to figure out what that means.

Please continue praying that our communication with each other, and with other people, will be blessed. Our marriage relationship is growing stronger, but we are also learning how vital that community we had back home to meet with & discuss marriage ups and downs really was. We are somewhat isolated, being one of relatively few married couples in the group, and so that makes it a bit challenging sometimes to process things and come to a resolution on our own.
